The first edition of Awkward Moments took place at Rye Wax, a South London venue for vinyl collectors and music lovers, in conjunction with Free to Move – a night promoting the integration of marginalised groups through music. The event not only raised money for refugees but promoted collaboration and interaction within the arts as a form of cultural integration and connection. For the occasion, Awkward Moments Series I became a five piece band performing a six track concept album with a backdrop of projected digital content. The LP is now available on all digital music platforms.
